What does the Cylindrical Roller Bearing Include?

A complete cylindrical rolling bearing system would be inclusive of a rolling bearing, a lubricant, and a lubricating system. The lubrication of roller and ball bearings would be done with greases, oils, or dry solid films, oil impregnated polymer oil, and molybdenum disulfide. Rolling bearings are known to carry the load of the rotating equipment.

However, the roller bearings cannot function for a significant length of time without a lubricant. Therefore, in the event of the lubricant failing, the bearing would fail shortly as well. Lubricants would often be the root cause of failure when the temperature of the bearing system rises.
